“What is it like to work for CORECHEM?”
Professional Development
CORECHEM believes in encouraging employees to reach their maximum potential. In addition to necessary job training, typically including industry-specific training, safety training, etc, CORECHEM also offers opportunities for self-directed study in view of the ongoing development of professional skills.
Work-Life Balance
At CORECHEM, we work hard, but we also value and promote the need for dedicated and intentional time spent away from the office. Employees spend weekends, evenings (most positions), and most federal holidays with their families. Very few positions require overnight travel. Our hours of operation are from 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (although exact hours worked varies by department). In our endeavor to support a healthy balance between your family and work life, we seek to provide as much flexibility as is achievable within your role.
Compensation
Compensation is typically provided in the form of salary or hourly wages (commensurate with industry and experience), health insurance, 401K/HSA contributions, paid vacation days, etc. Our peer-based merit program provides an opportunity for additional paid time off.
Does CORECHEM sound like a great fit for you?
After you submit your application, it will be reviewed by our Human Resources Manager. If we also feel that you would be a great fit for our team, you will be notified and invited in for an interview. All interviewing is done at our offices on Greenway Drive in Knoxville, TN. Top candidates for a position may be asked to come for additional interviews, and all interviewing candidates will be notified concerning the outcome of the interview.
