GlycoChill+ E230 Inhibited Ethylene Glycol Heat Transfer Fluid is the 30% concentrate version of our GlycoChill+ ‘E’ series. It contains 30% Ethylene Glycol, 70% water, plus corrosion inhibitors to protect from corrosion of ferrous and nonferrous metals. As a heat transfer fluid, the use of Ethylene Glycol has several distinct advantages over Propylene Glycol. Firstly, Ethylene Glycol has better heat transfer characteristics than Propylene Glycol and usually is more economical. In addition, Ethylene Glycol has fewer issues with viscosity at lower temperatures, so smaller pumps can be used, saving you money. However, this product is toxic to humans and wildlife; the appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) should be used when handling the material.
