Hydrochloric Acid ACS Reagent is a colorless or slightly yellow, fuming, pungent liquid. It is a strong and highly corrosive acid and is soluble in water, alcohol, and benzene.
Hydrochloric Acid applications include: Acidizing (activation) of petroleum wells, boiler scale removal, chemical intermediate, ore reduction, pickling and metal cleaning, industrial acidizing, general cleaning (e.g. of membrane in desalination plants), alcohol denaturant, laboratory reagent.
Hydrochloric Acid ACS Reagent is available in cases of (6) 2.5L bottles, 4 gal cases, 5 gal carboys, and 14 gal and 30 gal and 55 gal drums.
