Lithium Carbonate is a white odorless powder. It is the carbonate salt of lithium, a soft alkali metal, and is the first chemical in the production chain, is the building block for other lithium derivatives. Lithium carbonate is derived from naturally occurring lithium brines in North and South America.
Lithium Carbonate is used in a variety of applications, including batteries, frits for the ceramic and enamel industries, heat resistant glass (ceramic glass), primary aluminum, air conditioning chemicals, continuous casting powder for steel extrusion, pharmaceuticals, and lithium derivatives.
