Sodium Hydroxide is used in a broad range of applications, including: pulp and paper, detergent, chemical manufacture, water treatment, agricultural chemicals, paint removers, pigments, soap, surfactants, rayon, cellulose film, petroleum refining, reclaiming rubber, ore flotation and processing, ion-exchange resin regeneration, fruit and vegetable peeling, lab reagent, etching and electroplating, and pH adjustment.
