Glycol Ether DPM is a colorless liquid with a mild, pleasant odor. As an organic solvent, it is completely miscible with water and a number of organic solvents.

This product may be used as a solvent in coatings, cleaners, and other applications. It is slow to evaporate, has a relatively low vapor pressure, and has good coupling ability. It is able to provide good solvency for many resins including polyurethanes, epoxies, acrylic, polyesters, nitrocellulose, and alkyds. When used in cleaning formulations, it will help reduce surface tension, has a low odor, and provides good solvency for polar and non-polar materials; making it useful for use in floor cleaners and wax strippers. Other applications may include hydraulic brake fluids, textile, ink, electronic, cosmetic, agricultural, and adhesive products.
This product is combustible. Store only in tightly closed, properly vented containers away from heat, sparks, open flame, and strong oxidizing agents. Storage under nitrogen atmosphere is recommended to minimize the potential for moisture condensation in the vapor space, and the formation of peroxides. This product will absorb water if exposed to air. Use adequate personal protective equipment. May cause respiratory irritation. Avoid breathing mist/vapors/spray.
