Transportation & Delivery

CORECHEM Fleet & Capabilities

CORECHEM utilizes a variety of trucks and equipment to deliver our products. Listed below are some of our equipment options, and we are always looking for new ways to improve our fleet.

  • Drivers – Our drivers are fully trained to facilitate unloading products at customer locations without having to interrupt their operation. All of our drivers are equipped with the PPE and tools necessary to unload products, including electric pallet jacks and drum dollies.
  • Tractors – All of our tractors are equipped with air compressors and pumps for unloading bulk tankers. Additionally, they are low profile in order to access bulk loading racks.
  • Van Delivery Trailers – Our van delivery trailers are equipped with lift gates. For day-to-day and LTL deliveries, we utilize 35′ trailers with liftgates for ease of accessing most loading docks and customer premises. In addition, we have 53′ trailers for full loads of product.
  • Tank Trailers – We have dedicated tank trailers for Sulfuric Acid, Sodium Hypochlorite/Bleach, and Sodium Hydroxide. We also have two 7,000-gallon stainless steel tankers that are used for a variety of products, including solvents, alcohols, and heat transfer fluids. When changing products, tankers are washed and receive a certificate of cleaning.
  • Straight Truck – Our straight truck gives us the ability to access small and limited access delivery points. It is also equipped with a lift gate so we can unload pallets and drums of product, as well as a side entry for mini-bulk pump-offs.

Common Carrier

We utilize a wide variety of pre-approved LTL and full truckload carriers, especially for shipping to areas outside of our delivery area (see Delivery Schedule).

Customer Pick-Up

We offer customer pick-up at our location in Knoxville, TN. Pick-up hours are from 8:30 am – 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Some restrictions and regulations apply. For your safety, we do not load hazardous chemicals into passenger vehicles such as SUV’s and minivans. The vehicle must have some way of separating the product from the passenger, such as a pickup truck, trailer, or cargo van. Due to DOT regulations, we cannot fill customer-owned containers (i.e. totes, drums, or mounted tanks in the back of a pick-up truck or trailer).
