INCREASE CONCENTRATION (NEW/FULL SYSTEM)

If the system is empty, or doesn’t have adequate capacity to add fluid without having to drain some of the existing fluid, the following calculator can be used to determine the amount of solution to drain from the system and the number of gallons of concentrated heat transfer fluid to add to the system to increase the glycol concentration:

If the system has adequate capacity to add fluid without having to drain the existing fluid, the following calculator can be used to determine the number of gallons of concentrated heat transfer fluid to add to the system to increase the glycol concentration:




DECREASE CONCENTRATION

To decrease the glycol concentration, the following calculator should be used to determine the volume of fluid to drain from the system and replace with high quality water: (Water Quality Specification)
