Description:

Propylene Glycol USP Grade, is a colorless water soluble, hygroscopic liquid with a characteristic Glycol odor. It has medium viscosity, low vapor pressure and low toxicity.

Applications:

Propylene Glycol USP Grade is used as a humectant, solvent, and preservative in food and for tobacco products, also used as a solvent in many pharmaceuticals, including oral, injectable and topical formulations, such as for diazepam and Lorazepam which are insoluble in water.

Propylene Glycol USP Grade is available in 1 lb bulk, and 480 lb drums.
