Sodium Sulfate Anhydrous is a crystalline solid white granular powder. It is the anhydrous, sodium salt form of sulfuric acid. It is very hygroscopic, highly soluble in water, and has a slight characteristic odor or no odor. This material is a high-quality, natural Sodium Sulfate produced from raw salt (Glauber’s salt) from a natural alkali lake deposit.

Sodium Sulfate Anhydrous is used as a filler, finishing agent, intermediate, processing aid, and surface active agent. It is used as a chemical ingredient in various industries, ie. cleaning, packaging, glass, dyes, pharmaceuticals, textile, pulp and paper, dishwashing, laundry detergents, starch, industrial enzymes, water treatment, livestock mineral feed, electroplating, etc.

This product is not considered to be hazardous to health. It is a solid, white granular powder that may be slightly irritating to the eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Wear appropriate protective equipment and avoid contact with skin, eyes, or clothing. Avoid moist and/or high-temperature conditions. Observe good industrial hygiene practices. Minimize dust formation and avoid inhalation and ingesting. Use only with adequate ventilation. Use caution when handling or transferring. Store in a dry location and/or tightly closed container to minimize caking and dusting. Avoid contact with incompatible materials such as oxidizing agents, strong acids, aluminium, and/or magnesium.
