‘Isopar’ is a TM for a group of synthetic, high-purity isoparaffinic materials by ExxonMobil. This product is produced from petroleum-based raw materials treated with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst to produce a low odor, low aromatic hydrocarbon solvent. The major components include normal alkanes, isoalkanes, and cycloalkanes. See all of our Isopars here.

This product is a solvent used in industrial, professional, and consumer applications such as manufacturing process solvents, metalworking, formulations, cleaning agents, coatings, aerosols, cosmetics/personal care products, household products, radical polymerization processes, and as functional fluids in other consumer products.

The liquid and vapor of this product are flammable. It should be handled only with adequate ventilation and in areas without any ignition source present.
