Calcium Chloride Mini Pellets 94-97% appear as white, odorless pellets. They have no odor. Pellets contain a minimum of 94% CaCl2 by weight. They are soluble in water and alcohol. This product has a bulk density of 52 – 58 lb. per cubic foot.

Calcium Chloride applications include: De-icing and dust control of roads; formulation of high-density solids-free drilling fluids for the oil and gas industry; dust proofing; freezeproofing and thawing coal, coke, stone, sand, ore; concrete conditioning/acceleration; paper and pulp industry; fungicides; refrigeration brines; drying and desiccating agent; tire weighting; electrolytic cells. Pellets may be used to create a solution, which may be more appropriate for certain applications.

This product causes skin and eye irritation. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment while handling. Do not eat, drink, or smoke when using this product. This product is hygroscopic and should be kept away from moisture, in a tightly closed and sealed package, until ready for use. Store in the original container protected from direct sunlight in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area. May generate heat on contact with water. Flammable hydrogen gas may be produced with extended contact with metals, i.e. aluminum, lead, tin, or zinc. Keep this product away from incompatible materials such as sulfuric acid and bromide. Calcium Chloride Mini Pellets 94-97% are available in 50 lb bags. This product may be purchased as individual bags or in full pallet quantities.
