Solv 142 Flash Solvent is a high-purity mixture of hydrotreated isoparaffins and naphthenics with a high flash point. It is a complex combination of hydrocarbons obtained by treating a petroleum fraction with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst. It consists of hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C9 through C16 and boiling in the range of approximately 150C – 290C (302F – 554F). In appearance, it is a colorless liquid with a slight hydrocarbon odor and is soluble in water.

Solv 142 Flash Solvent is used as a process solvent for industrial applications. It may be used for dilution of oils and other organic fluids for determination of metal traces, as a chemical intermediate, lubricant (as a solvent to modify viscosity in lubricant oils) and coating, cleaning agent, metalworking fluid, release agent, and friction reducer in hydraulic fracturing.
Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flame, and other ignition sources. Wear personal protective equipment. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Avoid breathing fumes/vapors. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not eat, drink, or smoke while using this product. Always wash your hands when handling this product. Store locked up.
