Are you wondering if CORECHEM is the bulk chemical supplier for you? If so, here is a quick guide to help you figure that out!
1. CORECHEM is primarily a chemical distributor/supplier – not so much a ‘manufacturer’.
However, we do offer custom dilutions, and toll blending services. We source the vast majority of our commodity chemicals from reputable producer suppliers – here in America, and some internationally.
2. When we say ‘bulk’, we mean bulk.*
We supply our products in drums, totes, and full bulk tankers. The smallest package size available for many liquid products is 5 gallons – and the smallest size available for most dry products is a 50# bag. If you typically need to source smaller volumes of chemicals – we likely won’t be your best fit. (Some chemicals are available in cases of 1-gallon jugs.)
*CORECHEM has 3 divisions: Industrial Chemicals, Heat Transfer Fluids, and Contract Packaging. In this article, we’re talking about our Industrial Chemicals division. Our Contract Packaging division has the ability to package in much smaller package sizes, for retail or other applications.
3. It depends where you’re shipping to.
Commodity chemicals can be like groceries. An egg is an egg. (Most of the time! Unless it’s organic, grass-fed, and humanely raised!) And Sulfuric Acid is (usually!) Sulfuric Acid. It doesn’t make sense to ship a $500 pallet of chemical to the West Coast, with a freight cost of $2000, when there are chemical suppliers closer that you can source the material from, for less freight per product dollar. If it’s not a win for you… it’s not a win.
However…. (that being said)… we can and Do ship outside of our service area when special needs arise, or when it makes sense to do so for some reason.

4. You like talking to people.
So do we. If you prefer to chat with Ai bots, or to fumble your way through layers of answering machine prompts, we may not be your best option. Our offices are filled with real, live human beings, that pick up the phone and try to help. So, give us a call!

Maybe you need NSF-certified product. Maybe you need a container short-filled, so your equipment can handle the weight of the product. Maybe you have a lot on your plate, and need to outsource your chemical tank monitoring to free up time (or just want to keep employees away from hazardous chemicals!). Whatever your particular need is, talk to a representative. We’ll be happy to discuss how we may be able to accomodate!
6. You want a supplier that is, in fact, a partner.

7. Quality is important to you.
Providing a consistent, reliable quality of products is of utmost importance to us. Products are tested prior to shipment, and COA’s are available upon request. Also, we maintain high inventory turnover for chemicals such as bleach, that degrade over time and in warm conditions.
Traditionally, CORECHEM supplies B2B, and the types of customer we serve on a day-to-day basis would include: Manufacturing (a wide variety of industries including automotive, pulp & paper, etc.), public utilities, smaller family run businesses, etc.
